Senior Motion Graphics

We are a coffee franchise company looking for an Animator / Motion Graphics. The ideal candidate for this position will bring our brand to life through captivating animations and visually stunning motion graphics. They will also play a crucial role in developing engaging multimedia content for various platforms, including social media, website, and promotional materials, catering to our diverse and global audience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and create visually appealing animated content that aligns with Qargo Coffee’s brand strategy.
• Develop storyboards, sketches, and concept art to communicate ideas and ensure alignment with project goals before initiating the animation process.
• Execute end-to-end animation projects, including concept development, design, animation, and post-production, ensuring a seamless and cohesive visual narrative.
• Implement creative solutions for complex visual challenges, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and maintaining flexibility to revise animations as needed.
• Design and produce animated elements for various digital platforms, ensuring content is optimized for different screen sizes and resolutions.
• Enhance video storytelling through the integration of sound effects, music, and voiceovers, collaborating with audio specialists when necessary.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create animated content that engages audiences on different platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously researching new techniques and tools to enhance the quality and impact of animations.
• Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to integrate animations seamlessly into website and app interfaces, enhancing the overall user experience.
• Adapt existing animations for international markets, considering cultural sensitivities and preferences in both English and Spanish.
• Participate in pre-production meetings, contributing creative ideas and insights to enhance the overall visual storytelling strategy.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines and coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery of animated content.
• Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers, providing clear guidance and feedback to ensure consistency with Qargo Coffee’s brand identity.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior animators, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
• Evaluate the performance of animated content through analytics and user feedback, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Animator or Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality work.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Creative thinking and ability to translate concepts into visually appealing animations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace ecosystems

The salary for this position will be negotiated based on experience and company needs. This position requires 100% on-site presence at our offices in Bogota. Candidates must have superior English proficiency, with applicants below B2 level being kindly requested to refrain from applying.
