Seasonal promotions shape much of the pricing in online seed retail. Deals on cheap sativa seeds with free shipping tend to appear around late autumn sales, in early spring before the outdoor season, and during clearance of discontinued lines. Many shops add bonus seeds to orders above a certain total, which lowers the effective cost per unit. Signing up for a newsletter or checking a retailer’s promotions page a few weeks ahead often reveals these offers before they are widely advertised.
